• To provide you with details of our courses/workshop.
• To keep you up to date with current course information.
• To keep you informed of any course changes.
• To schedule examination bookings.
• To inform you of examination results.

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we control and / or process any personal information about you electronically using the following lawful bases.

We are registered with the ICO under the Data Protection Register, our registration number is: A8367412

Lawful basis: Consent

The reason we use this basis: Any candidate that contacts us about our training services or signs up to one of our courses will need to be contacted with regards to course information/updates about current/new courses/workshops as and when they arise.

We process your information in the following ways: Your name, email address/telephone number are collected at the first point of contact and general inquiry and stored electronically. Your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address are all collected when signing up to a course on our Course Registration Form which is stored in a locked cabinet to comply with Data Protection and also transferred onto our electronic database.

Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until you withdraw consent or for a period of 5 years.

Sharing your information: We do share your personal information with third parties solely for the purpose of booking examinations. This information is therefore shared only with Signature, Mersey House, Mandale Business Park, Belmont, Durham, DH1 1TH. Signature are the awarding body for BSL qualifications. We also share your data with Kashflow, our online accounts package for invoicing purposes only.

We do NOT transfer your personal data to anyone outside of the EU.

Lawful basis: Contract – Learning Agreement

The reason we use this basis: All candidates that sign up to one of our courses are asked to sign a Learning Agreement in order to agree to the conditions of our training courses including full payment of course fees even in the event of withdrawal from a course.

We process your information in the following ways: This information is collected in paper form and stored in a locked cabinet to comply with Data protection.

Data retention period: We shall continue to process your information until the contract/Learning Agreement between us ends or is terminated under any contract/Learning Agreement terms.

Sharing your information: We do share your personal information with third parties solely for the purpose of booking examinations. This information is therefore shared only with Signature, Mersey House, Mandale Business Park, Belmont, Durham, DH1 1TH. Signature are the awarding body for BSL qualifications.
